Begin with the film.

An AI short film still needs a reason to exist. David starts with a story, a question, a mood, or a moment that will not let go. From there he develops the visual language, creates and reviews moving images, and shapes the edit, music, and sound into a complete work.

The Battle of Camlann is David’s 2026 narrative short, submitted to Slamdance and SXSW for 2027 consideration. Steady Hand, adapted from Steve Sides’s memoir, was a 2026 Red Dirt Film Festival official selection and nominee. Eighteen Miles a Second is a cinematic poem submitted to Sundance in 2026.

Each film has its own form. The work is the best introduction to what this practice can do.
