The Austin AI Film Festival, Machine Cinema, and AITX are bringing filmmakers together for a free, fully virtual 48-hour GenJam from October 8 to 10.
The current brief asks participants to take the festival’s theme of going deep into the craft, remix it, and make a short generative film on a platform of their choice. The exact start time and meeting link are sent to accepted participants.
For David, a short deadline is a chance to work from instinct: find the feeling, choose the images, and shape them into a film.

The winning GenJam films are scheduled to screen at Zach Theatre in Austin on Saturday, October 17, during the Austin AI Film Festival. Winners are recognized at the awards show that night. Sponsor-track prizes include cash and platform credits.
